Operation

The cucumbers placed in the basin are passed through the brushes while floating in the water and gently cleaned. A bulkhead in front of the discharge basin allows the dwell time and, at the same time, the cleaning intensity to be adjusted. The cucumbers can be conveyed by the discharge belt into a container or transferred to another conveyor belt.

Structure

The cucumber washer can be equipped with up to six pairs of vertically rotating brushes as well as fixed brushes on the side walls of the basin. The large infeed area allows the product to be fed from all sides, even with larger conveyor technology. Above the wire eyelet discharge belt is an additional abrasive device.
