Operation

An operator places the cans to be opened on the tabletop equipped with stops. The can is then pushed under the ring knife and the opening process is triggered via the 2-hand control. The ring knife lowers and cuts out the can lid without cutting. The lid is clamped in place and automatically ejected when the can is pulled back.

Structure

The can opener consists of the pneumatically controlled cylinder with the exchangeable ring knife plate and the 2-hand control. By replacing the complete ring knife plate and adjusting the stops, the opener can be converted from 5kg to 10kg cans.
