Operation
In the dry spice doser, the products are poured through the safety grid and dosed with the help of an air pulse. In the pickling doser, the pickling paste is prepared in the mixing containers. While the paste is being metered from one mixing tank, a new batch can be prepared in the second mixing tank. The system switches automatically between the two mixing tanks. Corresponding level sensors are installed for this purpose. The water dosing unit takes a set amount of water from the water tank and doses it into a bowl when it is ready.
Structure
Both the pickle feeder with mixing device and the dry seasoning feeder as well as the control cabinets for pneumatics and electrics are mounted on a sturdy base frame made of stainless steel tubing. Both feeders operate independently. The pickle metering unit consists of the two mixing vessels with mixer paddle shafts, the water feed with counter, the 3-way valves for feeding the pickling paste to the piston metering unit, the piston metering unit, the feed line to the trays, and the product discharge valve directly above the trays. The water metering unit is designed as a make-up machine and has two piston metering units for the two metering points.
