Application area

Automatic dosing of seasoned and unseasoned meat as a mixture or single component in plastic trays

– gyros
– goulash

Operation

The meat to be filled is placed in the storage container by means of a lifting/tipping device. Through the movement of the mixing device and the discharge by the screw conveyors located at the bottom of the container, the product is conveyed onto the metering belts. The squeegees even out the product flow on the belts. The product falls into the discharge chutes at the end of the metering belts and is discharged into the trays below after a preset metering time. If the quantity of a single discharge is not sufficient, the control system offers the option of double discharge. In this case, two portions are discharged one after the other into a container.

Structure

Both the hopper with mixing device and the discharge screws, the metering units with doctor blades and the discharge chutes, as well as the control cabinets for pneumatics and electrics are mounted on a stable base frame made of stainless steel tubing. Both metering stations operate in parallel. After the product is discharged from the hopper, the metering is carried out by conveyor belts on which it is evened out with the help of the squeegees. After portioning, the product is discharged.
