Operation
The pail to be sealed is placed on the pail positioning table by an operator and pushed to the sealing position. The operator presses the two-hand control and the sealing plate lowers onto the pail and seals the sealing film to the pail rim. At the same time, the foil is punched out. The punching tool and sealing plate lift and the sealed pail can be removed. Optionally, the space between the foil and the bucket head space can be gassed with a protective gas before sealing. To change over to other pail and lid sizes, the sealing plate unit with knife plate must be replaced. A spacer plate must be inserted on the pail positioning table according to the pail size.
